CROSS COUNTRY SKIING IN THE ANTHOLZERTAL / VALLE ANTERSELVA VALLEY
Down below, on the valley floor, the cross country ski trails of Rasun di Sotto-Niederrasen snake their way through the entire valley as far as the Lago d’Anterselva-Antholzer See lake at the end of the valley. Region No. 02 of the Dolomiti Nordicski carousel comprises 60 km (37 miles) of cross country ski trails.

Towering at the top of Mount Kronplatz surrounded by awe-inspiring views of the Dolomites, the MMM Corones is the final gemstone of mountaineering legend Reinhold Messner's museum series. The museum offers a unique glimpse of the lives of mountaineers and climbers.

The Valle Anterselva is a term for all those who are interested in sports and especially winter sports. The valley is home to the renowned biathlon and cross country skiing center Südtirol Arena Alto Adige, which has frequently been the venue for the Biathlon World Cup race.
